Richmond Greyhounds

Light Up Sports were awarded the tender to upgrade the lighting at Richmond Race Club by Greyhound NSW

Originally, the job was to design, supply and install LED lighting at Wauchope greyhound track, but due to unforeseen circumstances the project was diverted to Richmond. The Club, Greyhound NSW and Sky Racing required an average across the track of 700 lux and 1000 lux at the line. However, Light Up Sports, were able to provide 1130 lux average with amazing results on camera

Scope of works included:

• Remove and dispose of existing light fittings, cabling from top of pole to base of pole and all control gear

• Supply and install 53 x 1350w LED fittings on the existing poles, including new cabling from fitting to base of pole

• Supply and install new circuit breakers (1 for each fitting) in the base of poles

• Aim, test and commission

• Provide written report and certification of actual lighting levels reaching the required standards
