LED lighting upgrade to 2 bowling greens

Light Up Sports supplied and installed new LED fittings over 2 lawn bowls green.

The club wanted to achieve Club competition level of play at 100 lux, however Light Up Sports were able to provide an average 285 lux at 0.75 uniformity, which meets National/Sate competition level.

Using existing poles and cross arms, Light Up Sports designed, supplied and installed 8 x 600w LED fitting per green, replacing the existing 1000w metal halide fittings.

Most impressive was the cut-off properties, ensuring no light spill onto nearby road and residential properties and the lack of glare for players - all while reducing energy consumption by 40%!
