LED lighting upgrade to 2 tennis courts
Light Up Sports supplied and installed a new LED lighting system over 2 tennis courts.
After an impressive resurfacing project, the Club wanted to provide usage to the updated courts during day and night. Light Up Sports designed a low pole system which ensured competition standard lighting whilst providing impressive light cut off and low glare.
We cut existing concrete to create new concrete footings for the black powder coated light poles. We also installed a new cabling reticulation system to the new pole locations using a combination of trenching and surface mounted black conduit. We installed 4 x 450w LED fittings per court. Finally, we installed an eSwitch lighting controller - giving the Club onsite and offsite control of their lighting.
Results are outstanding with an average 450 lux on court at 0.73 uniformity over 2 courts, all with impressive cut off and low glare.
